At Divante, we use several types of chemical peels, based on a client’s skin tone and type, and the condition in which we are trying to treat. We recommend SkinMedica Peels which help to illuminize, revitalize, and rejuvenate skin so that it looks healthier. We also use ViPeel Precision Peels that are ideal for treating acne and other skin disorders.
What’s great about a chemical peel is that it can be used on your face and body. We have exclusive peel products that can be used on different parts of the body. Whether you want to reduce the look of acne scars, surface lines, and wrinkles, or improve rough or scaly skin, chemical peels can drastically improve the look of your skin.
Chemical peels are applied to your skin and left on your skin to penetrate deep into the skin’s surface. Depending on the type of damage and peel that is being used to treat the damage, the peel will remain on your skin for more extended periods of time. There are three types of peels that are generally used.
One type of peel offers a light cleanse; another type offers a medium-depth cleanse, and the third type provides a deep cleanse. Depending on which type you choose, and under the care of our qualified aestheticians, you may require a local anesthetic to numb the area that the chemical peel is going to be placed. For deeper cleanses, some clients feel discomfort as the chemical peel starts to work. We can discuss the options available to you and the treatment procedures during your consultation.
